Masters credit courses for Gen AI based projects in office

Post by jeetchel » Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:03 pm

Hello,
My colleague who's pursuing PhD and I are working on Gen AI project for our employer. Is there a way where I can enroll for credit course(s) in a university in Finland without a lot of documentation and wait time, the idea being that I can apply what I learn in the course in my office project and vice-versa.

Universities have applications periods and provide their regular courses for their degree students, they are not training centres where companies can get their employees trained for free.

The Open university of Helsinki University has AI courses with course material online:

Since you already have an University degree, you should be able to self-learn additional knowledge required for tasks in your job.

Hey, that sounds like a great project! If you're looking to enroll in a course without a ton of paperwork, I'd suggest checking out online programs or open university options from Finnish universities like the University of Helsinki or Aalto University. I’ve looked into similar courses in the past, and they tend to have more flexible admission requirements, especially for professionals. You’ll likely need to show some relevant background or experience, but it’s usually not too complicated.
