Hi!
The street name for my address was recently changed, and the update in the population data services agency was supposed to happen automatically. I checked DVV, and the new address has been correctly updated there. However, when I checked Posti, it doesn't even have my pre-change address, let alone the updated one.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there something I should do?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Address Update Issue
Posti maintains a separate database. Maybe a previous address updated was only done to DVV. You can submit a move notification just to Posti via:chocolatepasta wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 12:11 pmThe street name for my address was recently changed, and the update in the population data services agency was supposed to happen automatically. I am living at the same address, but the street name has changed. Unfortunately, I cannot update it online because the system recognizes both as the same address. I moved here a year ago, and this was my first registered address, which I updated at the DVV office. Could it be that the change wasn't updated in Posti? I was under the impression that the DVV and Posti systems are linked, so any updates made at the DVV should have automatically reflected in Posti as well, right?

Let me repeat my previous answer with special emphasis added:chocolatepasta wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 6:06 pmI was under the impression that the DVV and Posti systems are linked, so any updates made at the DVV should have automatically reflected in Posti as well, right?
They are not linked. They do usually contain the same information given that the same process can be used to update both at the same time.
