yes i live in Antalya. when i check from estimated processing time checker tool, it says i will get a decision on 11.02.2025 but as you also know it is estimated time, there is still a chance to wait till 9 months…

When i read on facebook and reddit that there are some people who still waiting for a decision even if it’s been 5-6 months. All i wish to have a decision in 4 months as they mentioned. Waiting is so frustrating especially when i don’t have a valid visa to visit my wife.

My guess is we'll get an answer before the end of 4 months at the latest.

I understand that very well, the visa process must be very painful, finding and applying for an appointment is both troublesome and expensive

Based on family ties, I filed a residence permit application on 06.11.2024, with an estimated processing time until 06.02.2024 from Turkiye. However, I am uncertain if my permit will be issued within this timeline.

Additionally, my wife now qualifies to apply for a permanent residence permit. We are uncertain if submitting her application before receiving the decision on my application might impact my process. If anyone knows, could you kindly provide clarification on whether her application would affect mine in any way? I previously emailed Migri about this matter but have not received a response yet.

I also went to Ankara on 11.10.2024 and my estimated processing time says that i will get a decision on 11.02.2025 but tbh i have no faith anymore and i know at least 5-6 people are still waiting. Some of them wait more than 4 months… I have no idea about your specific question but this is my experience so far.

From legislation perspective it makes no difference. I don't know Migri internal processes to say anything about those.

Your application is currently waiting for processing. Due to the large number of applications the processing times have been prolonged, and first applications on the basis of family ties usually take a bit longer to process.
 
The current estimation for the process of your application is  0-5 months from now. The estimate comes from the legal requirement we have for processing residence permits on the basis of family ties, which is 9 months from the identification visit. Unfortunately I cannot give you a more specific estimate at the moment because your application is still in the queue.

Normally, when you go to the second phase, it says that they will inform you by e-mail or text message, so it is not always the case.
