Football Helsinki looking for some players

Hi guys,

We have a small(5ppl) football team and we are looking for some regular players:
playing in the helsinki hobby league, about 10-12 games in the summer months, 2*20min, 7v7, usually gravel pitch, if you're lucky artificial grass.
No training sessions, games are usually in the evening during weekdays.

That's cool... ill contact you in a few weeks when we get the calendar with the games and locations. Last year we started playing games outside at the end of April so i should get the info quite soon.

Latest update: League schedule is now online and we will play 13 games in Konala & tali halli between May and September. All games are in the evenings of weekdays.
If there is anyone else interested in playing 7v7 football in the "hobby" league, let me know

Hi,

It seems people here dont really love football. I asked the same questions in other threads and even sent a PM to the thread owner nut got no response. Everyday I bring the ball to the pitch and play with it myself. I want to join a team and play for fun but...well you know this is Finland. I think we can set up our own hobbiest team if you are really serious. Any idea?

It's a real challenge trying to organize anything in Finland. Most people talk the talk, but nobody walks the walk

I organized a similar thing 3 years ago (or tried to, anyway). It was a total waste of time. I got a dozen responses here, online. But, when it came time to actually go out and play, nobody was interested.

I gave up trying. When I want to play football, what I do is simply head out to the Kaisaniemen Puisto (Kaisaniemi Park), behind the railway station. Most evenings, there are a bunch of guys playing there. No teams, no schedules. Just come and join. Usually there are as few as 4 or 5. Sometimes, they are as many as a dozen or more.

I am Faris living in espoo i want to play and i love it and so miss it.
I am 24 year old and i moved here in finland last year i want to join some academy get back my skill but i tired to find it
