About damaged car junkyard

Hi, I was using a Skoda Octavia 2011 car. It has now reached an engine damage level. Car has new tires and all. What can I do ? Can I put to some junkyard and would they give me some money ? Or is there any other way ? Fixing the car would cost 2500 euro so I don’t want to do that.

Please send me your suggestions. I am based in Oulu.

They should be able to quote you the junk value. I don't know if such a car is worth something for parts.

There are guys on Facebook that advertise about buying old cars. I do not know if in oulu but in uusimaa at least.

There are companies that buy junk cars (like www.copart.fi/sellForIndividuals). You can fill in assessment request on their websites.
They then come and tow your car and then pay money to your account.
If no proposals from them, then you can just recycle your car for free.

Btw don't forget to decommission your car ASAP, so you get part of car tax and insurance back.
