In the '60's I wuz born on the Greenwich meridian, near the old British army arsenal.
In the 70's everyone supported Leeds, but not being a big footy fan, I picked, guess ? Arsenal - got much derision. Comments like "Ärse-nil" and "Oh, so you support Ireland", yeah yeah yeah.
In the 80's, everyone followed Liverpool. The Ärse jokes kept on comin'
In 1990's Man U were the hip cool trendy one to follow. More Ärse comments.
25.08.2004 - Arsenal 3 - 0 Blackburn Rovers
43 league games without defeat.
