I don't know what that email is all about though! But I also received the same email around 2.52am this morning and I applied first week of June 2021

It is just simple automatic message. I received mine on Thursday at 4 am. I think every 3 or 6 or 9 months they send that. I received it for both my applications PR and Citizenship application. I dont believe it can have anything to do with decision coming . If it is good

My application has been 5 months but i haven't received this message yet. Hope Migri will proceed it some day

Has any of you guys travelled abroad while your application was waiting for processing? Migri’s website says that you need to notify them only if you’re traveling for longer than 2 weeks. I wonder what would happen if I’m only away for a few days but they make a decision while I’m away. Will I be able to return!

they are just not automated messages they are a sign of something going on behind your application am talking from my own experience so when someone receives an automated message it means something is either being looked into or the processing is moving forward

When you travel more than two weeks you need to inform migri just incase they need more info so it dosent delay your processing because you were away from the country but decision when made dosent matter if you are in the country or not

I don't recommend travelling without informing Migri. Your residence permit will be immediately invalidated the moment you are granted citizenship, so unless you are an EU-citizen, with an EU passport that let you back in Finland, then I think it doesn't matter. But if you aren't and you need your RP to be valid when you got back to passport control, then by all means inform them about your travel plan.

Hello, I have received information from processing inspector that he is waiting for an inquiry from another authority before we will make decision on your application. Anyone has heared or experienced such? As per law such kind of investigation usually lead to SUPO interview. They r unable to provide information when process will be complete from other authority.

I would recommend sending an email to Migri if you travel outside Finland, and especially if you leave the EU. I did that over the winter holidays as I travelled to a country that was not a member of the EU. My application went into processing 2 days before I arrived back in Finland, then remained at stage 2 over the weekend. I received a decision in the early hours of the next working day. I was also informed that my residence permit was cancelled at the same time. I'm fairly certain it would have made re-entering the EU difficult if my application was processed while I was away.

I have got this information via request of migri where person has asked 1 identity question and inform me about this waiting for report.

I got the last message today at 04:52am

26.06.2021: First automated email (eservice-noreply@migri.com) talks about application being in enterfinland and waiting for its turn (Message was only in finnish language)
26.09.2021: 2nd automated email (eservice-noreply@migri.com) asking me to submit up-to-date information like travels, latest payslip etc (message was only in finnish language)
02.03.2021: 3rd automated email (noreply@migri.com) talks about my application waiting for processing, saying also that i can add supplements if there are any changes. (Message was in Finnish, Swedish and English)

I have received the same email on 23.02.2022 at 4am and this morning at 4am again I received the same "Your application is waiting for processing. We will inform you when the processing of your application begins. ....." Hopefully something is being done

Mine follows this pattern except that I didn’t get the second automated message and I applied in June. I do have messages after attaching extra docs to my application: one from no-reply and one from eservice-noreply. If we’re counting by the 3, 6, 9 month automated emails, I shouldn’t have gotten the email blackotokyo, you and others have gotten yet but I did recently.
Most of the people getting the new email in this thread seem to have applied around June 2021.

My theory is that this email shows that your application has been looked at/staged for processing. If it is a straightforward case, you will get a decision quickly like blackotokyo. If not, you might be transferred to some upper department like SUPO and it might still take months. So don’t stress about it. Live your life.

Got it as well but if we follow the logic that it means that something is happening then it's super weird because I applied just on the 3rd of January and there's 7000 applications ahead of me. But it's also weird that I got it only after 1.5 months, not even after 3 months.
