Thank's a lot! It was horrible time to wait decision...
Thinking many nights, that did we had enough "live" time together for migri.
(2week + 2 week + 1 month + 2 week + 2 week within an year).
I'm so happy now, that it was enough for them...
Good luck for rest of you too!

If they are not satisfied answers on "paper", then they will ask for interview.

Got a positive decision on my RP today!!! Yay!! And in the nick of time too because I just found out I am expecting!

We didn't even have to go for interviews! Just answered the supplemental questions and bam! So happy.

Hi,
My partner and I are planning to apply for a residence permit based on family ties later this year. He is American, and I am Finnish, and we were planning on him flying here, getting married, and then applying for the permit.
I have one question though: the list of required documents mentions needing a "Document showing that you are legally staying in the country where you submit the application". How would this work out in our case? He wouldn't need a tourist visa as Americans are allowed to enter with just their passport, so I wouldn't be able to show them that. Would a passport stamp showing he entered the country okay be enough?

Yes. And explain it on cover letter.

Applied in 7th may 2018 on paper application. Had interview at Delhi embassy 24th January 2019. Still no news! Finnish spouse. Nationality Bangladeshi. Emailing migri doesn't help

more than 10 month's passed.
I think the clock doesn’t officially start on processing until the interview at embassy. So it has been 4 months only if that is the case.
