Hey!
Is anyone else moved to the stage 2 and stuck there for 2 weeks?
I moved to the stage 2 on 1st of December and still no answer
Maximum within a month you should get the decision, I just checked with my friend’s wife and her (stage 2)In processing time period was about 33 days.
If you don’t mind sharing your queue number when it moved to stage 2 and now? Migri service point? When you have applied?
not necessarily, i have been on stage 2 for 8 month now. i hope you will get a decision soon. but sometimes migri can put you for long time on stage 2 for no reason.
That is sad to hear!

for me they didn't ask any information since 1st of Dec (I have moved to stage 2 then). Did they ask anything from you during these 8 months?

My last post in this group was in June 2023, I decided to take a break from anything related to Migri because at that point I had waited for 24 months since I applied late June 2021.
Long story short, I got a message yesterday that the processing of my application has started and today I got a positive decision. Considering the emotional stress and anxiety that I had to go through for 30 months while waiting , I cant even celebrate. A friend asked me how did I manage to stay sane during these difficult periods and all I said was I had faith.
I wrote to Migri for an explanation on why my application was taking long and I didn't get any response. If you are waiting for your decision and its taking longer , just know it will definitely come one day. Stay safe and be good. Merry Christmas to you all

Can't imagine myself waiting for 30 months without any feedback from Migri.

First off, CONGRATULATIONS! Anyone here who's been following your saga can likely relate to how you're feeling. Having to wait so long—in the dark—takes an emotional toll. However, for you, the wait is over. You can now turn the page and make new memories in 2024 (and vote in the presidential election!)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too!

not at all, before moving to stage 2 last april, they sent me the regular mail to update my travels, since then it has been total silence...

Now I see that the processing time has increased from 6-20 to 6-21 months
It feels kinda painful that some of us have to wait for the time that exceeds the sanity levels

Hi to Everyone!
I applied for citezenship in the furst days of July 2023. Today (21 Dec) my queue number is around 5030. How long should I wait for my application to be processed? Do people who applied in July got there decision already?

No one can tell you how long it will take to process your application.
Some people get their decisions in about 4-6 months, some have to wait for up to 30 months without any obvious reason.
Currently there is a trend that Migri processes quite many applications while their queue number is somewhere between 4-5k.
However, if you was unlucky and passed that queue interval then there is quite a big chance that it will take quite a while until you are processed.
So, based on your queue number I would say that you have a chance to be processed soon (1-2 months).
And yes, people who applied in July are already getting their decisions.

Thanks, How many people who created application in July and visitied migri in July got a decision already? If anyone on this forum, please, let me know. My queue moves by 14-24 places every day. So slow. I wonder if migri is slow in December or they process applications above my queu number. But for me it will bee soon 6 months of waiting, in first days of January 2024.

It was in Turku, but I don't think service point matters. My application and visit days are 1 day different than yours. Also, still in Stage 1.
