I emailed to them. Normally they only answered to ask me wait patiently, but this time they generously gave a bit more information.sillygoose wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 6:42 pmDid you contact migri through email? Quite surprised that the officer gave you that much info. From what I read they usually give safe answers such as ”processing can take up to two years so be patient” or something along those lines.meoo123 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 9:36 amI applied at the end of December 2023. Last time I asked migri and they said that my queue is on the same as someone who applied in January 2023. I asked again the situation few days ago, and they answered that they start to process those apllicants applied at the end of November 2023. They gave me a new estimated time. It will be ready in 2-3 months. Hopefully they will keep that promise! November and December 2023, we are few more weeks/months to go!!
This is good development. Apparently the folks who handle the regular cases are back to work from their summer vacation.
Anyway, anyone from here whose application got approved through automatic processing? All I see are second-hand accounts of such happening but never from actual people involved.
They didnt mention anything about slow or fast queue but I suppose my case should be straight forward enough not to be put in a slow queue.
My queue started as 86xx. I came as a student, graduated from a Finnish university, worked part-time during my studies and having a permanent job at this moment.
