I feel 95. I guess 10 beers gives you 60 years in the morning

Ten beers a day is nothing special for a Finnish man. But ten beers in the morning... damn. Hank, you're my hero. You'd make a fine teekkari.

Q: What is the difference between a teekkari (M.Sc student) and a diploma engineer (graduated M.Sc)?
A: The student thinks the booze will end if you drink it; the graduate knows it won't.

The darkness = just like in any disco. I admit that 5 month of disco can be a little bit heavy.
Ice = a thingy you put in your glass (it's free!!!)
Cold = It makes it much nicer to come home to the fire-place.
And when the spring begins and turns to summer = the sun is away only for a few hours.

You're my hero too, Hank. *weeps with happiness* I can drink a lot myself, in the morning.
At least that I know I can handle five months of pure disco. I'm totally in love with Finnish disco, Finnish kareoke...I love to both sing and dance.
A real
Kaale girl.

Not that only:
gipsy+knife= stereotype
gipsy+oulu= stereotype
knife+oulu=stereotype
gipsy+karaoke=stereotype
jesus woman, you cannot get more sterotype than that.

Whenever you come to Helsinki I can give you a tour, but please don't be weilding a scimitar like an Amazon. We're a quite peaceful little place here

What? How come? Is there something wrong here in Finland?

Gypsies scare me. One tried to get in my car in Helsinki. I think she was drunk. No, my car didn't resemble a taxi. Good thing I'm a paranoid American and my doors were locked.

How do people react when they see gypsies walking around in the city centre? I was in a club one night and spotted gypsies but no one bothered them. They danced to almost every song and the dance floor was crowded every time.

How do people react? People don´t react.
I reacted once last summer, and I reacted by stopping to listen. I was in a very Swedish-speaking part of Finland and even the Roma spoke Swedish.

Until that one tried to get into my car I hadn't reacted to them at all.

So one drunken gypsy is all it takes to have you avoid the whole group? Please tell me that I misunderstood.

Have you considered that Finland, home of 10 thousand lakes, might
not be the best place for someone afraid of water? ;D
