Which is probably a good thing. Considering the amount of spam I get the @ sign ought to be behind 5 simultaneously pressed buttons :twisted:

ääääää :D :D

However, when I type alt 148, instead of an "o" with dots, my post gets deleted! Ever heard of that one? :evil:

alt 0246 also doesn't give me "o", but at least it doesn't delete my post; it just jumps me up to the top of this post! :roll:

Make sure your "Number lock" button is active on your keypad.

I doubt they were Finns ;)

ALT GR+2 gives you a nice @. ALT+0064 or ALT+064 will also give you
the same symbol.

Whenever I try to type in Swedish, I've found this combination the most helpful one
Ctrl+Alt+Del
:wink:

Hey, I do that when I have to talk to my English family - :lol:

My problem is that I am 1/4 Finnish, 1/4 Swedish, 1/4 Irish and 1/4 English - but I like the Finnish 1/4 the best!

My laptop doesnt have a numeric pad, so the Alt+ doesnt work.

I use the Finnish Lexibar which works pretty good.

Do you have a number lock key? If you do, then the numeric pad is probably buried in the middle of your keyboard

On mine (IBM) it's written on the keys.

789 = 789
uio = 456
jkl = 123
m =0

That works, but it makes typing very slow having to hit num lock then alt+numbers and then hit numlock again and go back to typing

Easiest probably is to have them written them out first and then copy+paste.
