Well things seems to work fine , i am getting married soon , i sorted all the paper work , but i do not even dream of UVI . i mean guys ur posts about UVI are scary.

this is scary , it is worse then the syrian regime or the lebanese police system . they take his passport , put him without anything , escort him to his plane and treat him as !"#¤% .

is there any human rights here ??? somehow i feel if i ran away from misery am gonna be in another one !!!

so i guess either ur posts are extremly exagerated or somehow this guy adincluj was not totally clean and have some security issues and problems.

I mean they can not be so rude and mean at UVI . they are finns for god sakes , they respect human rights and laws . can't tell somebody we send you home like that or we don't give you ur passport ... evrything is done right even that.

I know many of u people here think like Hank does , in a pessimist way about life in Finland about the system but come on ... this is Europe , there should be human rights and there should be respect of others ... i guess !!!

Plus whois that idiot that want to come abuse the system and social benefit. what benefit lol come on 400-500 euro per month for sitting home, you seriously think a guy like me 24 years old will come to finland to sit his butt home , HA am going nuts already for sitting the last month home , maybe i should do some social volunteer work , but am learning the lovely hard language meanwhile still i hate sitting home . hell i seriously want a descent life , a job , work my butt and pay taxes . not sit home for 400 euro per month . get a grip people !!! have u seen how expensive helsinki is ... u need at least 2000 euro to survive here a month . so take it as my advice , get a job if u intend to come here . becoz you ll die from hunger otherwise.

some people come here to really start a life and not @#$% up the system !!!

Most of these complaints come from Westerners (read US and UK citizens) who are not used to not getting what they want, now.

I'm not saying that the poliisi are the nicest bunch. And actually, IMHO, some of these policies deserve being actually understood by the authorities who claim to enforce them... Usually getting permits and such is just a circus of paperwork circulated by people who sometimes don't really know what the paperwork is for.

If you marry your Finnish girl, then you should be OK with the authorities here.... If not immediately, then eventually.
