People who resurrect ancient threads are to be damned.

Anyways - valid issue once again.

To your question is that do you have a *defa* or a calix or eberspächer or.. XYZ... they're not "standardized" like the computer plugs. So you need to know which exact XYZ model and make it is and then appropriate cable is ... easy...

There is a two hour time slot that you can move around the 24 hour clock.
The idea being that the heater/power comes on two hours before you leave for work.
First set the main clock to current time then rotate the time slot to required window.
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

half the time it is that... if its got a red and green it gives the start and stop time and the clock rotates counterclockwise.... best way is to assault a neighbor scraping windows and ask "anteeks, miten vittua tämä laite toimii?" ;)

In my place the timer has a 'crown' of plastic petals for each 15 or 30 min of time (I can't remember).
If a petal is pulled out out radially, timer is off for that time slice.
If a petal is pushed close to center, timer is on.

Well the trouble with being a stupid foreigner, like the trouble with those little Berlitz books, is that being smart enough to ask the right question doesn't by any stretch make you smart enough to understand the answer.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

You think the neighbour would actually *speak* - rather than show and grunt?
