On average it takes infinite ammount of time. The vast majority of the world's population never heard of such a language
But if seriously, if you are among Finns all the time and not afraid of speaking with horrible accent and with mistakes in a year it'll be possible to communicate more or less freely unless you want to discuss the spirit of neoconstructivism in postmodernic French poetry in Finnish
