*sigh* If you were a Finnish citizen and married a non-EU woman, what kind of residence permit would she be getting? Right, exactly the same as your mrs. is now. Being an EU national does not make your ass any more or less gilt than a regular Finnish citizens does it now? The EU-national means if you and your wife are married and live in some other EU country like Germany and then get a bout of mental insanity and move to Finland, then thats a different thing. Now once your mrs. gets her Finnish residence and stays here 4 years was it now and applies for that long-term residence card. Then when you get a bout of mental insanity and decide to move to Germany, *then* that "Eu national" thing will apply.
