Yes but would you be happy spending money and time to travel to and from work, when "work" only lasted one hour.
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Well, I can walk to Kallio. Obviously it's not worth it if you live further.

There were two sudden speakers canceling the schedule this week. One even didn't tell us. Just let us wait there. It actually hurt and depress us.

one of them was Sudentassu after he heard what the pay was... since he already paid 56 euros for his train tickets from Jyväskylä to Helsinki and back...
Get in there...

There were one PhD and her husband coming today. They're nice. Actually, the happiest part of this short-term work is that you can still feel some Finnish are really nice...

Hello Ying, unfortunately I'm not Finnish and my command of Finnish is as good as, huh, a dog's; a Finnish dog maybe, but a dog anyway. Sorry !

Reading some of your earlier messages... The bulletin boards of the university are easy to find, they're generally on the entrance floor, just walk around to find them, might be a good place to post.

On a side note, this project reminds me of The Stepford Wives (the original film, don't remember if it was in the book too), she has to read something for some recording and then... well, I'll be spoiler-free. I just hope you don't plan to turn Finland into a bigger Stepford. :P

It seems that I could cheer up myself here by counting down the numbers... 56 to go...

Come on now, you people who have HBS drag your S.O. there. You can have a nice discussion with Ying and Ari while there is deep sighs from the other room.

Come on, really, I usually pay a tenner for such a nice cup of capucchino, now you get coffee and paid for it ;) .

And the place is There in Alppila next to the Siwa between 3.s and 4.s Linja where the bridge off Sturenkatu comes over Hesari. I know half a dozen of y'all live within a few blocks.
Cheers, Hank W.
