Went to K-Kamppi today... and found Oreos in the regular cookie shelf
I also had a nice chat with the tall guy at the meat & fish section. The best choice in his opinion for making those well done Texas style stakes is entrecote, since it has the most fat. (As we know that beef is cut differently here and in the US).
Also picked up some A1 steak sauce, which I can use those steaks to marinate with.
Also the he told me that in a blindfold test of what's the best way to cook the steaks, where the options were frying on a pan, sealing the surface on a pan and sticking in the oven and just cooking the steak in the oven on high heat, the winner was oven only. Apparently the high heat seals the surface better keeping the juices inside the steak and making it more juicy...
