Jari Litmanen..
Don't be daft... I know he must have been a bit thick to sign for Liverpool, but still, there's no way Litmanen's stupid enough to take the England job.
Ba-dum tshh!

Nice one.
But what about the Hodgeman? What's an "international coordinator" do? Apart from picking up a healthy cheque each month and letting the wife shop in Milan? Where can I sign up? I mean, if he's had that little number in his back pocket for six months, he'd really have to be bananas to want to take on the Ingerland job.

I was here today watching the game and it was not great but I had my Finland BCFC flag on view.

Yeah, I had noticed!

Also the second time they have scored 4 goals when it seemed to be the only match on canal plus I COULDN´T see
But, I do have my chance: Whole family going to Wokingham for Easter, & dear bro (a Royals seasonticketer) has got tickets for me & eldest (my 5yr old is a total footie nut!) in the family stands with him, for Reading v Birmingham, so we may get the Finnish flag out yet, to cheer on Forssell too

Allie the Britmum, "äiti" to 3 boys, 10,9 and 7, & little princess, 4.

Jari Litmanen.
Of course there'd be problems with the coaching licence I guess, but...
Well, remember where you saw it first. (Unless it doesn't happen, in which case please forget it as soon as possible).
Now they are talking up Frank de Boer, with Litmanen as his No.2. Not sure anything will come of it, but it has a certain symmetry, and would at least be forward-thinking. And if they can get Finland playing like Ajax in their prime or like the Dutch, well the old silk-purse trick will seem like a doddle.

And remind me who has F de Boer managed? Never liked this one or his brother
