Christmas Eve day shopping?

Where to buy? Where can I find? How do I? Getting started.

Some times the shop will require a purchase and return, but most of the time it's just checking product knowledge, placement and availability.

I can only perform
the shops if the stores are open on the 24th.
What?????? The mind boggles.
Rolph. I think the clue is in "mystery shopper".

Well I don't know why I bothered responding really - people are that sad???? I always thought the phrase 'get a life' was a bit stupid - but maybe not.

I'm afraid I don't understand, Rolph. What's the sad part? Who needs to get
a life?

Sort of on the same subject, anyone know, is there a postal delivery on 24th? Probably not I know, but have just been round the http://www.posti,fi site & must have missed the info somewhere. I usually do all my shopping online- the only way to shop with 3 tots & a long, expensive bus trip to the big city! But we have a few kiddies gifts we bought fron huuto on the way, I hope  I just hope they get here in time

It's in a pdf file :

Looks like no post on 24th (???) but I think Posti subcontracts parcel delivery so who knows?

Trouble is, even if the courier puts the little note in your post box to pick up the parcels from the PO... you have to wait until the next day to fetch them. At least that is who it works here.

And this is for you (Wokingham District Council spoiling the fun  ) :

Thanks Penelope, trust Wokingham eh  Scrooges
Anyway, here´s great news:
Bid on huuto. for train set & yamaha keyboard sunday, paid both sunday evening, doubting either would arrive for christmas, &, hey presto, both arrived at nowheremäki posti Wednesday 6pm! How´s that for fast Christmas postal service (& extra fast bank transfer not even to the same banks as mine!!!). Extra lucky for me too, because our post office is just another counter at a highway service Shell petrol station, so it is open every day, all year round from 8am till 10pm anyway, very handy! Thank you Suomen Posti, at least 2 of my 3 will be very happy at christmas  All I have to do now is cycle the 6km with bike trailer firmly attatched, to get the gifts home without breaking them :)
Hyvää joulua, merry christmas everyone!
