Even here people have told how they would wish for more positive feedback from finnish employers. Finnish empoyers in turn can prefer workers who do not need to be told how good they are.
Silence is golden.
And humility. Employee who keeps holding his/her "tail" up high, which may be good in some cultures, can be bad for work enviroment in Finland where humility and not making fuss of yourself are considered virtues.
Or, as you put it, stare at others. Person avoiding eye contact can often be perceived as dishonest or simply not paying attention.
