lets have a quick look at it ( couldn't help it :ochesey: )
vesak wrote:Hello Finland Forum,

One of our customers, a large one, is looking for suitable IT consultant to work on their premises in Espoo/Helsinki area.

This work would likely take several months, either part-time or full time.

If possible, we would also like to see at least some of the following competencies:
- former work experience as "technical consultant", "system architect", "technical manager" or similar
- reasonable (base-level or higher) understanding of online business processes
- understanding and experience with "large scale delivery of streamed media content"
- formal IT/mathematical education (bachelor, master, or similar degree)
consultant = someone very skilled, usually takes short term assignments. median pay rate +100e/h

IMHO - the idea is very simple, your chances to fill the gap(s) equals your capacity to shell out the expected hourly rate(s).

advertising in the forum is a good thing, head hunters (might) take anywhere from 10%-25% (sky is the limit) per head, still chances to find gold here are slim (unless you advertise it on some expat / consultant forum(s); I guess this one doesn't qualify.. yet :beer_yum: )

but, in Finland it might snow even in summer... so you might hit gold also here... good luck

PS. also, consultant work is not 9-5, usually "big guns" remember todo things or ask for reports when least expected, 5pm anyone? (but then again, usually consultants are worth every penny, if you manage to get the really good ones :lightbulb: )
