Either you're incredible stupid, in that case; welcome to the loony farm, or
Well, you don't *have* to be crazy to live here... but it helps

I like people who don't conform to the norm

Just sent off about ten emails. No reply yet. Lets hope one of them is the magic one.

Mate, you are going to have to wait a good while to get any answer. I would bet that you won't hear anything until well after easter.
Give it week or two for companies to consider contacting you.
And leave your CV in Monster. Sometimes those employer buggers actually look at those sites! One company has offered me chance for interview/job twice based on it.

Sweet. I'll do that right now!
Yeah, I understand that they might be slow and painful... I am starting to think watching paint dry, or grass grow seems to less straining on my patience.
I'll put my C.V on Uranus and Monster (sounds grim...

)
---------
Something just struck me, and I realise that I am an idiot for not thinking about it earlier. How cold is it in Finland?
Here i'm used to 30-35C... Tell me during the day it is atleast 0C or higher.... (I assume sufing is out of the picture... atleast the waves will not be crowded!

)

Sweet! Just what I wanted to hear!
One more thing that makes it all the more worth while!
Now, I remember reading somewhere here that it is advised that you "dumb down" your C.V when applying to certain jobs/positions.
For Uranus and Monster do I do this or just go full-blast?

For your CV left out there to tempt people, go full-blast. You basically don't know what exactly the potential employer wants.

Bah! Planning is for sissies!
I like to live life on the edge. Besides, the more I read and hear the more I like the sound of the place!
Looks like I am making the right choice
Anyway, My C.V is up on Uranus. I'm too lazy (and there is some cool stuff on T.V) to do the Monster upload

YaaaRR!

Yeah, we have 30 - 35 C every summer and winter.
And this autumn one of those crazy foreigners indeed went surfing in Helsinki.
(he did get some odd stares tho)

Do you play cricket or rugby?
I think nearly all the South Africans who turn up in Finland end up in one of those clubs, or both
