Just a little hint - if the sauce isn't too liquid, you can replace the cannelloni tubes with fresh lasagne sheets. I use them for a herbed pork and veal cannelloni recipe and they work out great. You can make the tubes whatever size you want by trimming the sheets. Very quick and easy and gives an authentic result.

Hey, thanks for the tip - alas however it was too late for me on Saturday since I had already bought the cannelloni  Anyway in hindsight I might have tried to use a makeshift baster (is that the word?) made out of baking paper... Typically, this didn't cross my mind at the time. I'll be better prepared the next time :ochesey:

At a guess "nozzle" is the word... or piping bag (in fact most piping bags come with a choice of nozzles). But you could stuff all the stuff into a plastic bag and then slice the corner off and use that for piping. Spoon is fine.

Wow Sammi! All that time patiently stuffing the cannelloni with a small spoon!
I bet it was worth it. Now, I imagine the cannelloni disappearing from the plate in a matter of a couple of minutes.
Thanks for sharing the experience. I'll see if I can make some cannelloni with my sis. If we manage to do it, we could post a picture! lol
