And i honestly could not care less
We learned how to make it in Romania from the hungarians, maybe during the Austro-Hungarian days, maybe even earlier, who knows - so i always associated it to the hungarians - even though i know perfectly well that it's austrian, and it's from Wien, considering especially that it says so in its bloody name.
So i listed there my most favourite foods that i associate with hungarians, foods that you can find probably everywhere there are hungarians.
Of course it's popular in other places also, it's a delicious dish that's pretty easy to make - heck, probably they eat it even in America, although under who knows what name ("Freedom Schnitzel" ? "Freedom Meat" ?).
Seriously, why do you feel the need to be so nit-picky - it's not like your correction was vital or something, i don't think anyone would actually make the mistake of confusing the origins...
