You're too immersed into Helsinki-meininki it seems, most people outside the pääkaupunkiseutu find Helsinki people snobs and arrogant In that sense, she won't have any problems in Turku (which is where she said she'd have accommodation)

I live outside it..and its fine by me!! So mebbe the forests are making you too sensitive!!

wow, this has turned into quite a debate. Sorry for any offense caused by my comment about Helsinki folk, it's just what I've heard from a lot of people, as well as the fact that they tend to be especially mean about people from Turku so I think I'm pretty safe going there.
