Keep on visiting restaurants (better lounasravintolat or ruokalat) on foot / keep on watching advertisements on mol.fi . That's the question of time.. but you have to be active.bubble308 wrote:
But I don't know where I can find a job like dish washing or kitchen porter. That's my big difficult. Can I find them on internet ?
astianhuoltaja, tiskaaja, astiantiskaaja, keittiö apulainen, ravintola apulainen, keittiötyöntekijä - these mostly are about dish washing or general helping in the kitchen. when writing an e-mail or calling to the employer, you can mention that your finnish skills are growing or whatever.. some employers might see it as an advantage concerning your finnish skills.. of course it is very doubtful, but whatever needs a try.

Thank you so much. Today, I had go to some of restaurant (lounasravintolat) and ask the boss already. And said that I will try to learn Finnish and I am very hard-working. However, they said they have enough staff now and they will call me if they need.

It is a bad time for this kind of jobs. However, they said they have enough staff now and they will call me if they need.
The restaurant schools have holidays and all the students try to get a (part time) job in a restaurant. Just to get a foot between the door for when they have finished their studies. And they can use the contacts from school.

That is normal. You have to try on everything you can. It is extremely hard to find a job right now because of the crisis. Try again and again, I know it's hard, but I've gone through the same myself. I have to say, I've found my job having basic skills of finnish... so I am speaking only finnish in my work place now almost a year.bubble308 wrote:Thank you so much. But I believe it's possible to find such kind of job with only english, because washing the dishes, you realistically don't need any language skills.. I've found my first job not knowing a word in finnish, but that was only luck and being active in job search.

Hi Bubble,
Would you be interested in teaching Vietnamese? I am moving to Hanoi in October and would like to start learning the language as soon as possible. We could do language exchange (I could help you with Finnish/English/Swedish/Welsh(!) or even a bit of German if necessary. I am native Finnish speaker.) or we can negotiate a rate.
Do get in touch if you're interested.
All the best
Heidi
