I don't have fast growing thick hair on my face, and my previous jobs didn't require everyday shaving. After 17 years of wet shaving once or twice a week, now I have to shave everyday, even on weekends sometimes! I dramatically observed how fast the blades go blunt and the shaving gel run out!! And the money I spent on them started to disturb me. Two months ago I bought an electric shaver (foil type), modest one... I am really impressed by the performance. It says I need to change the foil and the blades after 18 months. I paid 50 euro for that, and I think it is a bargain versus mach3+gel. It also saves time...

cheers for all your useless information....in true FF style.

Karel - I'm looking for a shop on-line or something so I can get a constant supply but if nothing turns up, I'll drop you a PM - however, I am a bit worried about your lack of razor use and hope you are using a different method of hair removal these days. :?

Gels / electric razors etc etc - all cr@p...well, they don't work for me. I'm like the bastard son of grizzly adams and a gorilla.

(Tenner for anyone who can find a good picture of a bastard son).

I tried those creams once, bloody useless, left half the hair and wasn't smooth. It burned too. So the next day I thought I would need a touch up and got out the old wet razor...never again...hurt and burned more and left me with a huge rash for about 2 weeks. Not good.

Those electric razors are just crappy. Maybe my hair is too soft or hard or something.

Failed to mention that in my 5 pack are also 5 blades. So 10x5(x5) is quite a lot.
And I still have baby hair, so I don't have to shave every day or twice a day. I probably manage up to 2-3 months with one blade.

Sorry!!!!!!! - I totally missed that, probably due to the shaking of my head in despair.....My apologies. Might be signing up myself.

You can actually buy them from amazon....but one of the reviewers said the blades were blunt as hell and claimed they were fakes. I doubt that but kinda made me think twice.

Ok, I confess I scrolled down too fast and ended up seeing pics of 2 men engaged in a farting competition.

To be honest, I stick with what i have. I have pretty poofy skin and get a ton of problems. I have less problems with the gill so don't wanna change....might be silly but....

i usually stock up too but haven't been to the Uk for a while. I stopped though as I felt I spent half my time in the Uk buying and bargain hunting just to save me a few euros here. My deodrant, I buy special stuff for problem perspiraion ( ), is a couple of quid cheaper here...Might need to buy that only too as the prices have just jumped up!

Well...see....I haven't been to the dentist in 10 years, so I am kinda thinking the shaving thing is an easier option as I heard the dentist waiting list here in Fag Town is like 3 years....dunno if it's true cos I haven't asked but I guess it is!

Get yourself a straight razor and a strop lifetime investment, use a pre-shave oil .Takes a while to learn how to use a cut throat but gives the best shave...

I'd agree with that. The best shave ever I have had was at barber who did it with straight razor. Sweet old lady she was, went to her shop over 20 years and when I finally started to grow real hair to my face she gave me a proper shave. I'm not sure that I have the courage to do it myself tho :)
