Mmm. I wouldn't bet that Finland still isn't ahead of the US in online banking. To me at least security, reliability and ease of use of service is far more important than getting cuts here and there.A bigger irony is that Finland was once ahead of the US in online banking. Some form was available to certain customers even in the days before MS-DOS. Imagine online banking with CP/M on a Mikro Mikko. Or is there no one else still alive who has seen a CP/M Mikro Mikko.
And on that field this far I have been very happy with my bank. Then again, I am stocking to OP-Pohjola for sake of those preferred customer bonuses and old tradition. But Sampo did not make good impression some time ago. And Nordea has some issues today, but that is in customer stupidity end.
