So dominant that you're now in
2nd place
although i'm sure the official site would have you top.
Uh-oh, the Panzers are on the move again. 25-21! Grrr.
that superior nordic country, Norway, has 14, placing them in third
Let's see.... Finland still has... 1

But the question would be why are the USA doing so poorely compared to Germany and Norway considering both have much less inhabitants?
Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different

New York City has approximately 60% more people than the entire country of Finland. I wonder how a NYC Olympic team would do in the medal count.
How would Minnesota do in the Olympics? That state has about the same population as Finland.
More people in Wisconsin than Finland; how many medals would Wisconsin get?

Yes, but Finns have sisu, everyone likes sports here and they have a great diet...so that should have evened things out a bit.
An off topic and more serious issue. When did GB/the UK win the ice hockey? Was it in the olympics or was it the world championships? I can't find the info. Or am I just imagining things?...

Britain won hockey gold at the 1936 Winter Olympics, although as I understand it the team was comprised entirely of Canadian expats.

Well nice story (and as I said before why let the truth get in the way of a good story), but actually 9 players were real Brits and 2 players were Canadians with dubious connections. Some of the Brits had played hockey in Canada, but if that is the judge then how many Finn players are Finnish?

Not really a fair comparison, is it? The yanks have to pay for their own blood doping. The real comparison is:

Exactly! So the British team was British, and not all Canadian expats! (we have to defend this gold medal as GB are 1 of only 7 countries to win gold in ice hockey, so really an ice hockey super power

I honestly didn't know this.
On topic, America may have the most medals but gold is all that counts and guess what? Canada is tops!
