Actually, I could tell you the real name of Mr "Mathew Lansivuoni"... (hint: a Swede who is fairly well known in Finland too)

Does somebody recognize any of the other faces - of course there is no need them to be recognizable for Finns (other residents), but they just might be?

see whats up!!
I sent e-mail telling them to pay this fees (2,999 Euro) for the chip ID and to be deducted from my first salary payment and they reply as below:

Dear Hazem,
As you can see the company is liable for all your expense and we have never
allowed any of our employee to pay any fee for his job process in regards to our company.
The Chip ID is your personal identification which you can use in working at any
Company in Finland not only ours. Its employee responsibility to bear it cost
for this is in accordance with the convention on the application law, signed in
Helsinki on June 19 2007 (treaty 80/93)
so sorry the company cant help you with
that.
Its up to you to decide and respond.

Sincerely Yours
Mr. Nasiru Tanko

What can they do? There is absolutely nothing to indicate that these people have ever been to Finland, and Helsinki police does not operate in Ivory Coast or Nigeria or what ever is these fraudsters actual base.

(regarding my previous posts: Googling 'Nordea board of directors' will give you a couple of familiar looking faces...)

The Chip ID is your personal identification which you can use in working at any
Company in Finland not only ours.
To anybody who reads this: Where did they come up with this mysterious "CHIP ID"? Never even heard of one as it does not even exist. Your personal ID in Finland is your passport until you get a KELA card with your personal identification number. Which you get after you have registed with the police (I think). Nothing to do with employers. And certainly does not cost 3000 €. It is free.

I am also starting to think that these types are Nigerians. Frauds are an industry there. Nowadays they know that "Nigeria" puts all the warning bells ringing world wide, so now they have come up with Ivory Coast. And poor little Finland.

Nobody hires anybody without meeting, and if the employer wants to meet, it is HE who pays the potential employees flights to the interview. YOU PAY NOTHING.

It is Interpol and Europol who deal with these frauds. When "Nigerian scams" first started they managed to get huge sums of money from people who had nothing wrong with their intelligence.

Hazemamin, don´t you want to play with them a little? Tell them that some of your countrymen who are studying in Finland will pay a visit to the company headquarters in Lehtisaari to see how nice it is, and to get a feel. And check the company´s financial status with Finland´s Kaupparekisteri (business register). After all, you need hard facts before you make any decisions.

I don't know how long it would be before the website would disappear of its own accord, but I'm sure Nordea and those directors would like to know how their photos are being used.

The law and practice being what the are in the U.S., a complaint to GoDaddy should normally get the site taken down within 2-3 hours -- particularly if it comes from a recognized entity like a bank or other major corporation. Legally I think GoDaddy has to act within something like 24 hours, but I don't recall the details.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

That is probably a attempt to scare potential desperate people who have heard that you must have an ID in construction site. That ID is of course provided by the employer, not employee, and I haven't seen any chipped ones.

Yes and no... I've paid my own train tickets and hotels, but I wouldn't certainly pay anything to the employer. And dunno how things are nowadays, but ~10 years ago, if you were unemployed, you got reimbursed for travel to interview.

So they gave "address"... http://kansalaisen.karttapaikka.fi/link ... 62&lang=fi
Lehtisaarentie 1 is the purple building and then there is no buildings on the same side of the road... and 7 is odd number like 1 so it should be the third building after that one on the same side of the road.
Lehtisaarentie 1 is the white building

I think I already wrote at some point that there is no house (you can see that already in the aerial photos), so yes, you are right. Like upphew tells, there is only Lehtisaarentie 1. No 3, no 5, and no 7.

Click the blue link upphew gave that says Lehtisaarentie 1. At the right down corner you see a square with a little yellow man. Then there reads Lehtisaarentie (Lövösvägen in Swedish) on the map. Take the little yeallow man on a walk along Lehtisaarentie-Lövsövägen and see the scenery. See, no houses, just bushes. The non-existent 7 should be between the sea and the street, at the end of the street right before the little bridge.

And like said before: Lehtisaari is a high-end residential area with no office buildings.
