Hi!

I don´t know from which EU country you are, but I came to Finland 2 months ago, and except KELA registraction everything went fine.
At first - go back to the police. You can always try to apply for the RP again. OR go to Sweden for couple days, get a document about it from the local police station, and come back.
When filling the form for the RP/registration, write as the reason to moving to Finland as "an EU citizen". They gave me this advice at the police station.
Then hopefully you have a health insurance in your home country, they will want your EU insurance card too. Give them the copy of your bachelor diploma. And bring the original too, to show it to them..
Then write a "proof of sufficient founds", that you have enough money to take care of yourself. Noone will check your accounts, so you know what to do
The best is to have over 6000€. And you need to write how much are you going to spend/month. What are your expenses for rent, etc. So all the costs. Those try to keep low.
Hopefully I did not forget anything.
I have a master´s degree, I gave them my bachelor and master´s diploma too.
One more thing - it´s good to ask for the registration right after arriving to Finland.
For me it took exactly 2 weeks to get it.

If I register on those grounds, will I be able to have any integration benefits, like the courses from the Unemployment Office?

You had to actually show them how much money you have in the bank? Or just a statement from the bank saying that you have over 6000 euros? What else did you need for that registration? Were you able to get integration benefits after that? (As far as I know if I register on the grounds that I have enough funds, it means you won't need the country's benefits... or no?)

After you get registered at the police, you can have to go to maistraatti. After that you can go to the unemployment office, and when they will register you there too, you can go to study finnish too (it´s a part of the integration programme).
Social benefits (unemployment money, etc. ) you can get, but the question is, if KELA or the Social office will accept your applying for it. You can have problems with KELA, because only being a resident is not enough for them (atleast this was their answer to me). So recently I´m not getting any money.
My language course takes 6 hours/day 5days/week. Total length of the language course is one year. And then you can go for 1 more year, but that´s another level.
But this they will explain you at työkkäri. I don´t know if the language course is the same everywhere, but this is how it works in Kemi.

At the police they did not ask any document from my bank. Was enough a document written by me, how much money I have. They did not care if I have one account, or more. And into the same document I wrote my living expenses.

In Sweden you can ask for a stamp to your passport for example. That´s a proof, that you left Finland. Or just go to Estonia if it´s closer to you.

I was told that I need an official document from my bank proving how much funds I have, and that was it. My bank is in Canada, and I haven't found the time to drop by my bank to get a document, so I haven't registered yet. Therefore I can't answer any of your other questions.
