I noticed tomatoes are on the rise,damn it :ohno:
Are you sure? 'Terttu' tomatoes now 99 cents/kg at Lidl.

Pretty much no more tasty than others - but when stewed a bit, OK. Heating tomatoes improves taste and also health benefits (lycopene). The cherry-type still about 2-3€/kg - and some brands quite tasty raw.
