Is the Finnish "justice" system a sick joke?

Where to buy? Where can I find? How do I? Getting started.

(For what it's worth, apparently the said "manchildren" were 1st or 2nd generation immigrant youth with an "honor" culture background.)

The sentences tend to be lenient for other acts of violence or harassment as well, regardless of the gender of the perpetrator or the victim... when compared to what you can get from fraud or financial crimes.

Sometimes the perpetrator actually gets to serve actual time (being only slightly sarcastic here) but the rationalization of the sentence still leaves you scratching your head. For a recent example, it appears that kicking and hitting someone down and then continuing to kick him until death is "not a particularly brutal or premeditated" way to end someone's life...

...so the the couple only got sentenced for a voluntary manslaughter, not a murder. (Not to speak of the previous assault and battery of a blind priest by the same guy.)

How about Greenpeace collecting some money from the public to keep these invasive predators in jail?

"when compared to what you can get from fraud or financial crimes."

These are also interesting (when compared to the case originally discussed in this thread):

es - there are occasional exceptions - they will probably have plenty of 'prison vacations' etc. - and will be out in half the time - they'll be 'well-behaved' - which means they stay in their cell when told to.

The guy with the 500k€ does very well - tax-free 167k per year! (but he'll be out much sooner). And he was just some kind of 'worker' - when do the CEOs get hit? Hardly ever!

It's all pretty sick - as said originally.
