Was it always 30 months or how many months it was before? Do you have a special case like refugee etc?

Have you checked with Migri? That seems a bit late if your grounds are in the shorter queue. Worth contacting them to give a little nudge I think.
Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Do you mind to share that is your application in stage 2, and there is not much change then? Or it is basically still in stage 1.
Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
I don't have any idea. They just give their generic reply, that they have a backlog in the processing of the citizenship application..etc.
I suppose to have a similar situation to many others, even from my circle. I came with student residence permit and switched to work permit after graduation. Country not on the list as they call it. No criminal records and no fines. But it is what it is. No one knows what’s going behind the scenes with the internal processing.

I called them and they said 31 months. Went to visit because I had to attach my newborn baby's application and when I asked the person I met she told me same 31 months so I am just waiting. Next month will be exactly one year.

Maybe you will hear from them soon, wish you good luck and keep us updated here!Daltas wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 7:05 pmThanks for sharing.phungxuanton wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 5:05 pmJust passing some information, someone from FB group got decision today and they applied on Dec 15th 2023. Seems they're starting to process mid December 2023 this week
I am from around that time too. 11th December and Diary Number on 15th December without migri visit.
Not 100% whether they go by Application date or Dairy number.

What is your diary number? You don't need to write whole number, something like 5xxx.No_doo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 12:20 amI don't have any idea. They just give their generic reply, that they have a backlog in the processing of the citizenship application..etc.

Why are you getting mad? It’s possible that people who has a work/student resident permit can apply later to asylum. And usually refugee’s applications take longer thats why i just askedNo_doo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 6:49 pmAre you for real? I was moved to stage 2 yesterday, with a request for extra information. I sent that yesterday and nothing since then.
Anyone in the same boat? I am from 15 December 2023.

Ok. My apologies. I am not a refugee and I got my permanent residence permit based on work recently.gulbeseker wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 9:57 amWhy are you getting mad? I myself asked Migri why it is taking so long, even more than 23months, but they just give the generic reply.
