Diary number received: 08.01.2024 (diary no. 173xx)
Decision: 10.10.2024 (after 8 min of processing)

Nationality: Asia
Move to Finland: 2016, holding Permanent RP.
Working, no co applicant.

An update for end of Dec 2023 application that received diary number on around 6-8th Jan 2024. I sent an email to migri yesterday to ask about the situation and they replied that my application will be processed SOON! Not sure when is SOON. However, my friend who got diary number on 7th Jan got a decision today, and I got diary number on 8th.

That's great to hear, intersting that someone can get a diary number on a Sunday!

Hope you get you get a decision by Monday latest, please let us know when that happens

Following my friend’s application yesterday, mine went on progress today. Here is my timeline:

- Application submitted: 28.12.2023
- Diary number created: 08.01.2024
- In progress: 11.10.2024 at 9:30 am
- Decision: 11.10.2024 at 11:00 am

Yeah, so stressful, I thought that my case is straight forward, it's very weird and random....it seems that there is some internal criteria that we are not aware of, it's really a black box, and looks neither fair nor transparent

Our cases were simple that's why were taken up in 9 months but apparently not simple enough for decisions in 30 mins or few hours.

Hello everyone,
I applied on 6 December 2023 and got my diary number 11. I have been an employee since 2014 and never got any help from KELA in December; however, I am still awaiting progress. So is anyone who submitted the citizenship application and is still waiting in the same situation
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
