Well were moving to Pellinki.....bus comes 2 times a day, so maybe a new car is in order.

Actually we are looking for a 7 seater like C8, Previa etc. But the saving you make buying a used car does not seem very big. Sure you can save about 10-15k euros if oyu want a car thats done 300,000km. Anyway advice as to whether or not we should just bite the bullet and get a new one?

The only difference there is when moving from non-EU places, and with cars the compliance things do play a significant role. However has go nothing to do with your citizenship.
