Hope not, i have been living here for 3 years and my uk licence expires in november and if i have understood correctly i have until then to exchange it. Well according to the thread...you have to do it by 18 months of getting your resident papers....Which ever ones they are...and it is just a straight swap...or after that 18 motnhs you have to do the Finnish test & get a Finnish license...

If anyone could clear that up..I would appreciate it.

the 18 months only applies to people with licences from outside of the EU.

Found the police page for trading in an eu licence, no mention of the 18 month limit :P
