Well, obviously galleries and museums are a good place to go find information about art. As far as the internet goes, try to find art-specific forums and sites in Finnish (assuming you can speak the language). Trying out college professors might be a good start, they may at least point you to some proper sources. History teachers may be a good source, not only art teachers. There was a huge romantic national movement in Finland during the late XIX, early XXth centuries.
As far as the language resources mentioned in the last page, that's an issue with ANY machine translator. I suggest looking for language specific pages, like these
Dallas Translation Services, and check out if they have forums. Most translation companies that run forums have translators participate in them, and as long as you have short phrases and stuff, they'll probably be your best bet for some free help.
