And false morels are considered a delicacy in Finland. You know, those highly toxic mushrooms that the rest of the world consider lethal  Crazy Finns...

Ah, korvasieni. Before consumption, false morels have to be boild a few times. The toxic vapour smells absolutely horrible.

They ARE lethal if consumed unprocessed, but as opposed to the Japanese Fuku, it's simple and easy to get rid of the toxins. The mushrooms are delicious in fact. Anyway, as a reminder to everyone - never ever pick or buy these korvasieni mushrooms for consumption unless you know exactly what to do with them.

Boiling false morels removes 99.5% of the toxin. That's reassuring... Then again, I consider veriletut lethal

Back to the topic: MTV3’s video report of Padasjoen Nakukymppi (aka “Naked Run of Finland”); a 10 km running event for... nekkid people.

Yesss...

I still remember very well the first time I saw an advert for a sauna here in Manchester, well I wanted to go,but it turned out to be a hot "dungeon" of pleasures for "love" thirsty people.  So that's that about my sauna experiences in the UK. Looking forward to my own sauna next week back home in Finland. :ochesey:

Hahah!
I bet cold showers will be needed indeed. It looks to me, that British are not that familiar of getting nude for example in the sauna.

The funniest memory to me was, I took my english friend to a sauna,it was his first time for it, he went in, took his clothes off (quite slowly and being suspicious of getting found naked by other people), and in the room where you took your clothes off, there was a fireplace (out of fire on that occasion even.), looked at it, stood there naked and said, " I thought sauna's gonna be roasting hot,is this it?!" . Hahahaa! Poor man thought that that's it ,the sauna, but wait untill I got him into the real one,he coudn't bare the heat! and off to the lake and swimming to cool himself off. Hahaa!
