Hmm,
What i can say, i have moved to Finland one year ago, i have applied to University i have get in i have been to KELA i have ask about the student financial aid, i have fill that papers, give them some papers (school letters, salary paper, home contract) i have wait for like 3 weeks and i have received the decision at home: Dear blah blah blah, you are entitled to get
the student financial aid, blah, blah blah...starting from 4 October xxxE/month ... blah, blah, blah. Problem solved! I'm from Romania also, so no problemo! Until now with all the papers from when i have moved (police registration, maistratti, KELA card, driving license, id card... ) i didn't had any problem. They ask you papers it's normal! It's not everything yet just IT!
I have left from my country long time ago too, i have been in the French Foreign Legion, now i'm here in Finland to make my life! LOVE and PEACE!
I just want to say to my co national (r32) to stop crying! Go to solve some administrative stuff in Romania and you will understand what means bureaucratize! Go and solve some papers in France or in Italy and you will be happy to live here in Finland!
By the way, Romania, my country, it's so beautiful...but just the country like mountains, forest, sea, rivers, old history places, dracula castle and a lot of others castle and fortresses...etc etc it's wonderful! The only thing bad that is there are the people! For this i have quit my country because there it's chaos: corruption, gypsy's, bureaucratize...etc!
I will prefer to live in Africa or anywhere else and i will be happy! I'm sad because of all this, i'm sad that i must to live my country to stay far away from my relatives, friends, places where i have grow up...i'm sad to be far far away from my house, between strangers, in a new country, new mentality, new language! But this it's the life we chose something better all the time! I hate that i must to see every day in the city gypsy's that are begging money, laying down on the road! I hate all this, i hate that people think that are Romanians, but it's true they have the romanian nationality! BUT THEY ARE GYPSY'S! I hate the romanian authority's that they don't do anything against this! But this is the life!
So R32 before you start to be a finnish to complain about everything, think at your origin and how it's there and after you will shut your mouth! You are here respect the conditions and make your life, respect the country, the low and everything! they keep you here, they help you and what you do ? You complain! It's not good!
P.S. Da-o-n rasa masii de treaba, pt niste hartii ca ai umblat un pic de la politie la kela incepi sa plangi! Ai dat de greu ?
Be ready to fight!

If you wish to convince people of something, it is more useful to be entertaining than to be right

What an interesting language.
I watched "4 luni, 3 saptamâni si 2 zile" last year (4 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days) and was fascinated to listen to the speech. I really can't afford to get interested in another language now, but I felt compelled to go do some googling and wikipediaing afterwards. I hadn't expected it to sound so French, and it was very strange to imagine I was hearing both slavic AND french influences. It turned out to be more than my imagination. I was then surprised to learn that there is some degree of cross-understanding between native speakers of Romanian and Italian.
The movie was good, too. Sort of a Romanian "Juno" I guess, after you subtract all the cheerful elements and street advertisements and add fear and exploitation.

As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

Both are latin language, but romanian one is unique in the world. You can red the origin here :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanian_l ... n_language

Rumanian/araumanian/wallachian is a romance language of the eastern branch, like italian(at least central-and southern "dialects"),dalmatian and sardinian.AldenG wrote:What an interesting language.

Just by curiosity I started to read this topic; it turned out to be written by another romanian!
I can say that my family (they live also here, my father since 2007) had difficulties with kela; can say even if we are that kind of people to lawsuit them, 100% we will win the trial. but this isn't the point now.
yes it's hard here, but it's probably 100 times harder in romania and in other contries. I also agree with this gipsy situation. once I met a gipsy family in a buss, and it was horrible! all the loud talking, all the runing inside the buss it was too much for me. but unfortunately we can't do enything about this situations. a lady even asked me if we, romanians people, are gipsys.
I realy mis my country, eventhough there is a really bad situation. and still i like here...with all the strange people.
for everybody who still is wondering about romanians, they shoul search about all the ID specialist that we have all over the world: america, canada, some in europe... i don't want you to think that I'm that kind of person who is 100% proud of her origins, but there we have also good things. if you want to hear about normal romanian people, you will hear about robbers, killers and so on, in italy, spain. if you want to hear good thing about romanians, go in canada, germany, and probably some in nordic countries.
