Well...FWIW, the Finnish wiki article doesn't attempt to translate this other than by its geographic origin...

ranskalainen/lothringenlainen munapiirakka..... To me the "signature" ingredient is the eggs.
And I guess not having a more direct translation ...
kitse...???? .....probably means these pies have not penetrated Finnish culinary consciousness to the same degree as in, say, North America....
