Yes, there was a Egyptian charter plane full of French tourists that nose-dived into the Red Sea on its way to Karm el Cheik (???)... Egypt, killing all on board. Apparently Switzerland had already banned the airline from its air space.... but not informed other countries of its decision.

I just imagine Finland being so unprofessional some how.

budget travel

Post by infoash » Sun Sep 05, 2004 1:06 pm

Just thought I will post something to get myself introduced in the message board. Well..I am an International...Indian by origin...been in UK for a while before I was brainwashed to Helsinki :) after I was promised great weather by my employer! Well rest is history lol. Its strange that I have been here for a year and half and never got around knowing about this forum from any source! Better late than never!

Yeah..just my 2 cent on the budget travel to UK...I recently connected to Glasgow from Helsinki and returned from stansted with a round trip fare of around 160 euros which I thought was a fantastic deal. So I first connected to stockholm through http://www.flyme.com and then took Ryanair to glasgow. Did pretty much the same thing while returning from stansted. The only problem is the different airports in stockholm where ryanair and flyme arrives at. So its not quite recommended for travellers carrying too much luggage.

anyway laters

fly to Stanstead with Ryainair for peanuts and then from there to Paris (again with Ryainair).

cheap flights always take longer

'normal' priced flights get you there faster.

Seldom do you find fast and cheap (unless you live out in the sticks where these low cost airline airports operate from.
