The problem is not that you received money.
The problem is that the money will be classed as something and it can result in other obligations
For example , i work for a company with a taxcard, so i have a finnish taxcard , im here more than 6 months a year so i am a finnish tax resident.
I get phone calls from admirers all over the world saying that i am awesome and they send me cash. In finland that cash is something.
I talk with another person on the phone and they pay me for an interview, that cash is classed as something.
Gift money , income in various forms can result in having to pay obligations, in some instances obligations are registered, much like a pension payment to yourself needs to come from something registered.
So its kind of like,,, if your income is classed as salary you need to pay lawful contributions on that classed salary and the contributions come from a registered business identity.
Something like that although exact equation depends on other things too.
