It does not.
But for now that government has released funding for migri and automation is almost complete, migri has notified that decisions will be quick. So hope for the best. Everyone is getting decisions now. :)

My friend of mine who applied in March 28th 2019 just received a positive decision today. 3 hours after her Appplication moved to stage 2 she got the decision.
...My daughter and i applied on the same date. The application is still in stage 1. Hopefully, it goes quickly now. Congratulations to your friend.

There is a link to give feedback to Migri.

I think all of us should give feedback because the statistics of the feedback go to the higher authorities.

Following is the link:

Feedback is always anonymous.

Hi,
I sent an email to migri today and they replied prompty saying that due to automation system decisions are delayed and processing time is 12 months so be patient.
I wonder they r so quick to reply my email but they r sleeping regarding my application.

They have released this info only on the Finnish version of the website.
I have no idea if it is actually implemented, since I applied on 7th Feb, but people got citizenship where they applied in March, stated just few messages above.

I wonder what they are up to. My app is still at stage 1.

I have a question if someone can answer?

Those applicants who have taken Kela benefits for 1 or 2 years during their stay in Finland, do they get their decision late than those who never took Kela benefits? Can it be a factor?

According to what has been posted here and year earlier there is no connection between the Kela’s payments to the applicant and the processing time. Don’t worry about it, the only requirement is that any applicant’s sources of income are legal.

Hi,

I have a question,I hope i can get help here.

I just received a request to provide supplements for my citizenship application. This includes Payslips, Bank statement (for the entire year) and työsopimus. Which are way more than the 10 Attachments available.

Has anyone here experienced this and how did you hand it? Did you or is it advisable to send the other requested supplements via post?

Happy Haloween everyone.

Hi, if I understood correctly the issue:
You can merge your documents in 1 PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. There are also some free online tools to merge PDF files (I didn't use it, because of the information sensitivity). Or you can just scan it in 1 PDF.

Besides, usually they want only the most recent payslip, as it includes the cumulative income for the current year.

Happy International Day of Nonviolence everyone.
