For everyone’s information, if you are below 30, you have to do the army duty or civil service unless you have a medical report which says you are incapable of doing army duty. I am below 30 and army already contacted me . I am planning to do civil service (347 days). Wish me luck!

Note: You can only get passport if you are still below 28. And that passport will only be valid until the end of the year of which you turn 28. After that you have to sort out army duty. Otherwise you cannot get passport and your citizenship may be cancelled.

Thank you dude for the info! maaan LOL at least they should have given you few days to celebrate being Finnish national before they contact you I think I need to prepare myself then for one of them, civil service sounds more ethical and less restricted but man 347 days is so long :'(

Lol yes. When you go to apply for passport, all these things come out. If you don’t apply for passport, they might inform you later but sooner or later, they will.

Probably negative. I know a person who exceeded the speed while driving two times, one time a driving license was taken away for few months. This person was rejected the residence permit and had a ban on entry for 3 years

It has happened 2016 and I have been wait for serve all probation year’s. It was happened long time ago. Already past 3 years. after that life is normal by the way I have PR.

4 kid’s with Finnish wife.

The problem was between me and Kela students loans.I dined to pay those bills that time I was jobless. After the court decision I made a payment plans with Kela. It still going on. I pay it every month. The problem was I should inform the Kela when I was working part time 2016.
I claimed same time the benefit. Otherwise I don’t have any other problem.

I think you can proceed to apply because you have payment plan ongoing. My opinion, you don't have hindrance now.

Does anyone know what was done correctly in the positive applicants of those whose application moved in the same day from processing to decision made or only a day or two from processing to decision made? Were there extra papers attached? Did they have all parts of yki test scored? Did they have no fines? It is because they had a job that Finland is lacking experts in such? Like engineers, IT personnel, healthcare etc. Kindly share your experiences or friends experiences. Kiiti.
