Why? The president has been known to hop on a tram if traffic is
going too slow
Why, just the other day I was enjoying a lonkero on Taidehallin Klubi's terassi, when the pres walked past and stopped to chat with some people at another table. I didn't see any security persons - possibly they were keeping a discreet distance.

Hei there, I know that this topic is not about what I gonna ask, but I'd like that someone answered me...

In december i'm gonna go to Helsinki and I'd like to know in what shops can I buy t-shirts where it puts "Perkele", "Suomi", or whatever, you know... shops of souvenirs! :/

And another thing is that if someone of you knows the address of Kimi Räikkönen's house in Espoo, I'd be very grateful for it!

Thanks! Bye.

Shirts and other souvenirs -- can be found in small shops around the Helsinki centre... Stockmann's also has a tourist shop, although you probably won't find a PERKELE shirt there (other Finland shirts, like the Poro model, yeeeeees...)

Räikkönen -- please provide your private telephone number, real name and address on this forum first

You can always try and find one of these shirts:

Plenty of good ones there :)

Sally, always check the websites of any bands you want to see, thats the easiest way.

As for clubs, Tavastia is quite popular for those kind of bands... umm, anyone else?

Yep - http://www.tavastiaklubi.fi/

Some gigs are also in Nosturi... http://elmu.welmu.com/ ... they seem to have the likes of Amorphis, Swallow The Sun etc in the offing... but as LostOzzie said, the bands' web pages are usually the best place to start if you're into those particular bands only.

If gigs fail you, Corner Bar or Hevimesta might be worth a visit.

I might have been mistaken, but I am 99.999% sure I saw that Ville Valo guy on Saturday night in downtown Helsinki. He was out with his gf and a few of his friends having a few drinks in the bar area in Manala. After a while, people started gathering around where they were sat and they made a swifty exit shortly after.

'Everyone wants to know details on celebrities' lives'

I don't and to be honest I've never heard of this band until I read this post, and I really don't understand this fascination with people who pick their noses, burp, f*** and go to the toilet just like we do.

On saying that I was hitching in Lapland with my ex just after arriving in Finland and we were picked up by the Tango King, my ex had to explain the significance of this honour. They asked us if we wanted to go to their 'gig' with them, I said 'no we wanted to get on'. They picked us up again the next day
