thank you for the info but do you know and the name maybe?
Tony, try and help yourself by searching on Google (it took me 10 seconds to find the Greek restaurant name). And be careful you don't start fitting the younger generation stereotype that some of the older folks have, i.e. don't wait for everything to be chewed to a pulp for easy digestion. Get stuck in and push yourself every waking second. Good Luck! :D

That already happened 2 pages ago.

You can get free internet access in libraries. Being a spoon-fed lazy sod isn't an excuse for not finding a job. Like that dishwasher job - you really expect someone to call you? Really, you need to move your ass more if your brain doesn't do the moving.

You don't need any Finnish. Put "Greek Restaurant Kamppi" into Google and the first result is this:

http://www.kamppi.fi/en/retailer/greek-restaurant-minos

The link even has some Greek!

ΚΑΛΩΣ ΗΡΘΑΤΕ

If you're not capable enough to do that for yourself, you might want to consider getting a flight back home. There are opportunities in Finland, but nobody will empty your nappy for you.

I meet a Greek guy working as a security guard at lidl supermarkets>imagine myself an aussie who rips into the workdays and the consequences of this ripping is some serious dirt and other materials all over myself at times> you guys know the deal if youve been here long enough, the amount of material on me almost guarantees that i am not a Fin worker.
Anyway as you would expect i caught this guys attention and we got talking , to make a long story short, after being here for over 8 years he understands most Finnish and speaks enough Finnish, he declared to me with a clear conscious that life here was more or less a prison , or i guess he was feeling trapped anyway.
Thats the 3rd immigrant that has told me this and all 3 of them are the same , they learned finnish , tried to move up the food chain , but somehow have become trapped.
What you need to do tony is have a business plan that gives you the opportunity to avoid the swampy lifestyle, this country has more than enough educated people that think but cant make money.

Maybe you should tell us why you choose Finland? , because if i was just a random border hopper looking for improvement i would have chosen sweden(only because i have been there too).

Well i have chosen Finland bcz in Sweeden are too many immigrants... I like Helsinki is a good place to live and from the days that im here i believe that i will never find job if i dont speak any finish..so NIMENI ON TONY HAUSKA TAVATA!!!i learn really easy but i cant go to school there if i dont have any job.. so first thing that i have to do alone in a country that i cant speak the home lunguage is to ask for job any where any job!... I dont think that this guy that u met was so smart bcz you are not trapped if you find job in a country that speaks a so difficult lunguage to learn!! To live in Helsinki is really better than anywhere in Greece..so thats why i coshen Finland!

There is a reason for that and you discover it every time you're looking for work.
