Your Hankness (or anyone else qualified to answer),

I know that Dr.Pepper has had a long, checkered past in Finland... Sometimes being available and others, until recently, not at all available.

However, what has the status of Root Beer been in Finland? Has it ever been available here, and if not... why?

There seems to be a surge in specialty carbonated beverages here, and I think its time to introduce some root beer.

Short answer: Because it tastes like ass.
Long Answer: Look in the ethnic stores. I've found Jamaican Ginger Ale here even.

Does anyone know where I can buy Irn Bru in Finland? (Tampere to be a bit more precise)

I FINALLY FOUND DR. PEPPER IN SEINÄJOKI!!! WOOOOOO!!

I will now being doing all of my grocery shopping at City Market! <places hand over heart>
