Just got my decision.
12.9.2024 - Visited Migri to prove identity
16.9.2024 - Diary number was created
23.7.2025 - Application went into processing
31.7.2025 - Migri requested additional info and I submitted it with a few hours
1.8.2925 - A (positive) decision was made
The decision was not automated, and it took little over 10 months to process
My background: Sri Lankan, moved to Finland in 2019 for masters studies (B permit). Got my first A permit in 2021. I've been working as a teaching assistant, university instructor and a Doctoral researcher since 2021. Not married (but I have a Finnish partner).
